configure_makefile-fixes.diff:
  fixed awk $4 bug
  fixed TCLLIB environment bug
  added checking for different awk varients
  added missing sanity checking for awk, dirname, and basename commands
  added sanity checking for TCLLIB and TCLINC environment variables
  changed Makefile.in to get 'LN_S' from configure

This patch also includes Fabian's osf-inline.patch changes
